Pune: Voters are the most important in any democracy. It is necessary to increase the percentage of voting done by the voters as much as possible. This is necessary for the strength of democracy. Such an intention was given by the Director of Higher Education of the state, Dr. Dhanraj Mane.
National Voters’ Day was celebrated on 25 January by the Office of the Co-Director of Modern College and Higher Education Department of Progressive Education Society, Ganeshkhind. Dr. Dhanraj Mane was speaking on this occasion. Co-Director Dr. Kiran Kumar Bondar, Principal Dr. Sanjay Kharat were present at this time.
Online essay and painting competition organized
District level online essay and painting competition was organized by the college from January 17 to 22. 300 essay and painting competition were organized in the competition. A total of 300 essays were received in this competition and 85 contestants appeared in the painting examination. The results of these competitions were also announced in the program. Pvt. Sandeep Sanap announced the names of the winners. Mahesh Dede, Dimple Mudholkar, Ujjwala Sutar were given first, second and third prizes respectively in the essay competition. Along with Rituja Chikhle, Anugya Chandravanshi were given prizes on encouragement. Dr. Sanskriti Awalgaonkar, Dr. Deepneeta Bhanja, Dr. Savita Sabnis took over as examiners.

In the painting competition Nandini Vanjari got first prize, Ankita Vibhute second and Rachna Gawli got third prize. Ujjwala Sutar and Rituja Kolpakar were honored with the award as an incentive. Dr. Gauri Kopardekar as examiner, Prof. Rajendra Bhoiwar and Prof. Sandeep Sanap took over the task. The introduction was done by Dr. Gauri Kopardekar and the vote of thanks was given by Dr. Jyoti Joshi.
