The no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan has been rejected in the Parliament of Pakistan. The deputy speaker of the Pakistani National Assembly on Sunday rejected a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan and declared it unconstitutional. Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri has rejected the no-confidence motion alleging foreign conspiracy and has not allowed voting in the House.
Pakistan National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri said that no other country has the right to try to topple the government of Pakistan. The Deputy Speaker has adjourned the proceedings of the Parliament till April 25. The next sitting of Parliament will be held on April 25.
Pak Minister Fawad Chaudhry requested the Speaker, citing some articles of the Constitution, that this proposal is unconstitutional. After which the no-confidence motion was rejected by the Deputy Speaker. Meanwhile, Pakistan PM Imran Khan came before the public and said that he has recommended the President to dissolve the Parliament.
Imran Khan recommends dissolution of Parliament
Imran Khan said that I have sent advice to the President to dissolve the assemblies. There are elections and people decide who they want. Let no conspiracy from outside and such corrupt people decide the fate of this country. Imran Khan said that no one should decide the fate of the people of this country by conspiracy from outside and buying people with sacks of money. He said that I tell my community today that you should prepare for the elections.
President dissolves parliament
Imran said that such a big conspiracy which was being done from the country has failed today. Imran Khan said that the no-confidence motion rejected by the Speaker of the National Assembly was an outside-planned no-confidence motion. According to Pakistani media, now elections will be held in Pakistan within 90 days. Pakistan President Arif Alvi has dissolved the National Assembly on the advice of Prime Minister Khan.
The youth was appealed to perform
Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday appealed to the country’s youth to stage a peaceful protest against a foreign conspiracy allegedly hatched against his government, a day before the crucial vote on a no-confidence motion moved against him, but he did not agree to it. He said that they should not criticize the Pakistan Army.
Imran Khan also dismissed reports of differences with the army. The prime minister claimed that the political crisis created against him was the result of his desire to have an independent foreign policy for Pakistan.
