India Mobile Congress: The fourth ‘India Mobile Congress’ (IMC 2020) event is going to start from today. The Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), an organization of the telecom industry, has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the inaugural session of this event virtually. PM’s address will be at 10.45 am The fourth edition of this program of the telecom industry is being organized for the first time through video conference due to Coronavirus epidemic. The event is being organized by the Department of Telecommunications, Government of India and COAI.
India Mobile Congress will run for three days i.e. 10 December. According to the statement issued by COAI, Union Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, Minister of State for Telecommunications Sanjay Dhotre and Telecom Secretary Anshu Prakash will be present during the inaugural session. Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, Sunil Bharti Mittal, Founder and President of Bharti Group and Nunzio Mirtilo, Head of Ericsson (Southeast Asia, Oceania and India) will also be present. Members of COAI include Reliance Jio, Bharatiya Airtel and Vodafone India.

Heads of various industries in India and abroad have shown interest in India Mobile Congress. The Indian Mobile Congress is expected to be attended by more than 30 countries, 210 national and international speakers, 150 units attending the exhibition and more than 3,000 delegates. Various ministries at the event, Telecom CEO, Global CEO; Domain experts from 5G, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Data Analytics, Cloud and Edge Computing, Blockchain, Cyber Security, Smart Cities and Automation will participate.
