From now on, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has also adopted a corporate-style culture, where all forces and agencies will have to submit their daily working day plan, ie “work to do” list, to the ministry. This new style of functioning was introduced only a few weeks ago, when Home Minister Amit Shah asked all the chiefs to submit the details of their work to the Home Minister’s office every day.
News18 quoted top sources as saying that every force, agency and police, including the Delhi Police, has to submit their upcoming work to the ministry every day.
All the forces get the details of the work done every day from all their units and a senior officer selects the top 5 points from these and sends them to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Under NDA, 20 women cadets will be recruited in the army for the first time, 10 officers will get entry in the army
Top source told News18, “All paramilitary forces like BSF, CRPF, CISF, SSB, ITBP as well as central investigative agencies, which come under the home ministry, and local police like Delhi Police submit their daily working reports. , which they will do in the Home Minister’s office on that particular day. All the forces, agencies have to compile and submit the best or top 5 work that they have planned for the day to the Home Ministry by 9 AM every morning.”
According to sources, all forces and police agencies also have to submit compliance reports to the ministry every day. “Senior-level officers have been tasked with sending daily working reports by 9 am for review by the top level in the ministry,” the official told News18 on condition of anonymity.
Giving details about the daily work plan, officials told News18 that all forces and police will have to submit their working details such as planned operations, scheduled seminars, special assignments for public and visits of top officials to the ministry.
“If any force like CRPF, BSF or any agency has planned any operation in Kashmir or Naxal area, they will have to show it in the daily plan also,” an official said.
“For example, all paramilitary forces compile an internal list from all their wings/units and a senior officer chooses the best five jobs, which could be an operation, posting or a meeting,” the officer explained.
An official explained the reason for initiating the process, “It helps the ministry to monitor the day-to-day functioning of all forces and agencies. Also, it will help them in preparing compliance reports and better day plans. It’s been several weeks now and the report reaches the top level.”
