To be more precise, half an hour has been extended for question papers of 80, 90 and 100 marks, while the time limit for question papers of 50, 60 and 70 marks has been increased to 15 minutes. 14 lakh 26 thousand 960 students have been registered for class XII and 15 lakh 27 thousand 762 students for class X.

the board took the right decision
Board Chairman Sharad Gosavi said that the students have had to go through a lot of troubles in these two years, one of which is almost giving up the habit of writing papers. Therefore, keeping in mind the interest of the students, it has been decided to give them extra time. Arundhatti Chavan, President, Parents Teacher Association said that the board has taken the right decision keeping in view the interest of the students. Now students will have extra time to write the paper.
Due to COVID, emphasis was given on online education. Many students also had a lot of difficulty in the beginning, the habit of writing has also reduced. In such a situation, due to lack of writing speed, they cannot attempt the entire paper, so we welcome the extra time given by the board and students should take advantage of it.
