Soumya’s house was attacked by a rocket. Soumya Santosh was working as a caretaker in Israel. After Soumya’s death, her nine-year-old daughter and husband are left. This is the first death in the Hamas attack on Israel from Gaza since Monday. Hamas has fired hundreds of rockets at Israel since Monday.
According to news agency PTI, Saumya was talking to her husband through video call when the attack took place. But suddenly this attack happened and the video call stopped.
Fired 137 rockets in 5 minutes
On Tuesday, Hamas was told that it fired 137 rockets in just 5 minutes. According to the ‘Times of Israel’, a large amount of rockets fired towards the coastal city of Israel could not be stopped due to a technical problem, which has caused damage. Israeli security forces have instructed the residents of the city to build city buildings throughout the day, which have been directly affected.
India condemned the attacks
The Union Minister has expressed condolences after an Indian caretaker was killed in a rocket attack. India’s Union Minister of State for External Affairs V. Muralitharan said that he has spoken to Santosh’s family. The Union Minister wrote in a tweet that, talking to the family of Soumya Santosh who was killed in Gaza’s rocket attacks, expressing condolences and assured them of all possible help. A total of 630 rockets were fired from Monday evening.
More than 630 rockets have been fired in Israel since Monday evening, of which around 200 were intercepted through the Iron Dome missile defense system, while 150 were unable to meet their targets.
