New Delhi/Mumbai. According to the big news of the morning, an investigative report has made a big claim that China had suffered a ‘huge’ loss in the fierce violent clash in Galvan Valley in 2020. Let us tell you that this report has been published in the investigative Australian newspaper The Klaxon. In this very special report by reporter Anthony Klan, it has been revealed that while crossing the Galwan River in the valley, many Chinese soldiers were also swept away in the water and drowned. At the same time, their number was much higher than the figure released by China.
Chinese Casualty in #GalwanValley skirmish was about 38. PLA soldiers decided to cross the icy water of the river in pitch dark, were drowned, claims Australian Newspaper The Klaxon.https://t.co/ue2OAOB5UH

It has also been told in this important report that the facts and pictures of two separate clashes in Galwan were mixed together to influence the facts. This report also states that China never disclosed the soldiers killed in the Galwan conflict, although it did announce posthumous medals for its soldiers killed in the war. Then the Klaxon independently created a team of social media researchers to investigate this closely.
38 PLA soldiers were washed away in the fast river
Along with this, the number of Chinese soldiers who died in the report has been given 38. On the other hand, the report of the researchers, quoting several users of the Chinese social media platform Weibo, claims that at least 38 PLA soldiers were washed away that night by the strong current of the river. Among them was a soldier named Wang and only the official announcement of Wang’s death was made by China. The report claimed that the fight on June 15 was actually started over the construction of a temporary bridge.
Fierce dispute over temporary bridge
In fact, Indian soldiers built a bridge over a stream of Galwan river in May 2022. The PLA, on the other hand, had been creating infrastructure in a mutually decided buffer zone since April. On June 6, 80 PLA soldiers came to break the bridge built by the Indian side. Then 100 Indian soldiers came forward to protect it. It was then decided that both the sides would recall all military personnel crossing the buffer zone. “The PLA, however, did not keep its promise,” the report said.
However, on June 15, when the Indian soldiers under the leadership of Colonel Santosh Babu came back to see the activities of China, they were attacked by the Chinese soldiers. Only after this there was a skirmish between the two armies. But by then, seeing itself weakening in the skirmish, the Chinese army immediately started retreating. In such a situation, the Chinese army decided to cross the river in the dark of night itself. But by then the flow of the river became so fast and 38 Chinese soldiers were washed away in it.
