Backyard, While returning after visiting Shegaon, 4 youths of Paratwada died on the spot due to accident after hitting Artika tree. The accident took place at 10 pm on Monday night near Raundla Phate of Dahihanda police station area on Shegaon-Akot road. After receiving the news of this, a wave of mourning ran in Achalpur-Partwara.

Among the dead are Akshay alias Vicky Ashok Avaghad (28, Saraswati Nagar, Kandli), Akash Avadhut Kukde (27, Gurukul Colony, Paratwada), Ankush Pralhad Divte (27, Eklaspur), Ghanshyam Chavre (56). All four had left in the car of Rishabh Jaysingpure of Paratwada. The accident happened while returning to Paratwada after having darshan in Shegaon.
Eklaspur resident car driver Ankush Diwte’s father works in the field. Ankush was the driver. While Vicky Avghad was the photographer. The mass last rites of all four were performed in Eklaspur after their bodies reached late in the evening on Tuesday. Due to the bad condition of the road, this accident is known to have happened in the process of saving the pothole.
3 accidents, 7 deaths in a month
Three consecutive accidents have happened at this place in a month. In which 7 people have lost their lives so far. The car of 4 people of Talegaon market crashed while returning to the village. In which two people died. A few days back also a woman has died in a car accident. It is said that due to non-receipt of NOC of the forest, the work of Raundla Phate is incomplete. Due to which 7 people have died in a single month.
