On Saturday, the NDS squad of Municipal Corporation conducted surprise checks of commercial establishments including marriage lances and auditoriums in all zones. Violation of the rules of COVID protocol was found in 5 wedding ceremonies. Social distancing was not being followed and many people did not even wear masks. A fine of Rs 35 thousand was recovered by taking penal action on the five functions.
A lance on Amravati Road in Dharampeth zone was fined Rs 5000, an auditorium located at Siddharthnagar in Asinagar zone was fined Rs 10,000 and in Mangalwari zone, Rs 5000 was fined for the violation of rules in the marriage ceremony by putting up a pandal in front of the house. In this way, a punitive action of Rs 5000 was taken on a wedding ceremony in Tulsibagh in Gandhibagh zone and Rs 10 thousand in Gandhibagh.
Penalty on digital company
In Dhantoli zone, the office of a digital company located at Ganeshpeth was fined Rs 10,000 for violation of COVID rules. At the same time, a fine of Rs 5,000 was imposed for found banned plastic bags at a bag shop in Dharampeth zone. NDS squads conducted surprise checks of 49 marriage lances and auditoriums in all 10 zones, out of which 5 were found to have violated the rules and penal action was taken.
Caught those who did not wear masks
Even though the administration has provided almost complete relief in the corona lockdown, but there is no exemption in applying masks. Wearing of mask is mandatory. Despite this, people in the city are being seen without masks even in public places. NDS squads recovered a fine of Rs 35,500 from 71 such irresponsible people in various areas. From June 5, 2020, the action of masks has been started by the Municipal Administration. So far, a penalty of more than Rs 2.08 crore has been recovered.
