New Delhi. According to a big news in the morning of New Year, there was a fierce stampede in Mata Vaishno Devi Bhavan on the occasion of New Year in Jammu and Kashmir. So far 12 people have died in this accident. At the same time, two women are also included in the dead. Also, more than 20 people are said to be injured in this incident. At present, the relief and rescue work is going on continuously. At the same time, the injured are being continuously rescued by the local administration. PM Modi expressed grief over the incident
Here Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief after receiving the news of this incident and announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh to the dead and Rs 50,000 to the injured from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF). According to sources, most of the people who died are from Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.

There was a scuffle in the crowd, a stampede broke out
According to the incident, on the occasion of New Year on Saturday, a large number of people came to Katra to visit Mata Vaishno Devi. During this, a stampede broke out after a fierce scuffle in the crowd and many people were injured in this. In this regard, BRO Dr Gopal Dutt of Katra Hospital informed that, “So far we have received information about the death of 12 people. The official figure is still not disclosed.”

Treatment of injured in Narayana Hospital
Along with this, Dr. Gopal Dutt has told that, the situation is still not clear here about the total number of injured. At present, the post-mortem of the dead will be done. The injured are being treated at the local Narayana Hospital here. It is being told that the scuffle started at around 2.30 pm in Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan.
