New Delhi: Voting took place on Monday in view of Uttarakhand Assembly Election 2022. However, since then, a period of turmoil has started in the BJP which is in power. In this episode, BJP candidate from Laksar assembly seat in Haridwar district, Sanjay Gupta has accused the state president Madan Kaushik and called him a traitor.
It is to be known that BJP MLA says that Uttarakhand BJP President Madan Kaushik has worked against many BJP candidates to ensure the party’s defeat in the assembly elections. He has supported the BSP candidate contesting against me. He is a traitor. I demand the BJP high command to sack him from the party.

It may be noted that in the elections held on Monday for all the 70 assembly seats in Uttarakhand, more than 65 per cent voting has taken place where the fate of 632 candidates has been imprisoned in the EVMs. Uttarakhand Chief Electoral Officer Sowjanya said that polling was peaceful in all 11,697 polling stations in the state and 65.1 percent voters exercised their franchise.
