Mumbai: A surprising case has come to light from Maharashtra regarding Corona Vaccine. Where a person has filed a petition in the Bombay High Court alleging that his daughter died due to the side effect of the corona vaccine. For which the father has demanded a compensation of Rs 1,000 crore. In the petition filed in the court, Serum Institute of India, which makes Kovidshield vaccine, its associate Bill Gates, central government and state government officials have been made parties.
What is the whole matter?
Let us tell you that the father’s name is Dilip Lunavat and his daughter was a medical professor by profession. According to the father of the deceased, his 33-year-old daughter Snehal Lunavat was a senior professor in a medical college in Nagpur. Snehal took the first dose of Covishield on 28 January 2021 in Nashik. After which he had severe headache on 5 February. Later on contacting the doctor, he was given migraine medicine, after which he got some relief. But after that on 6th February she traveled to Gurgaon and on 7th February at 2 am she vomited with fatigue.

After which Snehal was admitted to the nearby Aryan Hospital. Where the doctor told Snehal that there could be bleeding in his brain. There, as the neurosurgeon was not present, he was taken to another hospital. Where, doctors suspected a blood clot in his brain, after which he suffered a brain hemorrhage. At the same time, doctors performed surgery on him to remove the blood clot. After this, Snehal was also on ventilator for 14 days. But there was no improvement in his condition and he died on 1 March 2021.
False claims of vaccine being safe
Petitioner Lunavat says that his daughter Snehal was forced to take the vaccine as she was a health worker. He said that the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) and All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) have made false statements on the safety of the vaccine. At the same time, the petitioner has also accused Serum Institute of giving false feedback. According to him, it is wrong to say that no side effects of the vaccine have been found.

Lunavat has also claimed in the petition that the After Effects Following Immunization (AEFI) Committee of the Central Government had on 2 October 2021 admitted that Snehal died due to the side effect of the vaccine.
Declare the deceased a martyr
Lunavat says that he should get compensation from the responsible officials of the state and Serum Institute Pune, the manufacturer of Kovishield vaccine. He further said in the petition that the deceased Snehal should be declared a martyr and a dedicated research institute should also be opened in his name.
