Farmers’ Tractor Parade: The Delhi Traffic Police on Monday asked passengers to avoid the road where the protesting farmers would perform their tractor parade or ‘Kisan Republic Parade’ on Republic Day. Farmers unions on Sunday finalized three routes originating from the Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur border points for the tractor parade. The tractor rally of farmers protesting against the three agricultural laws will come out after 12 noon on January 26, when the Republic Day parade ends.
Joint Commissioner of Delhi Traffic Police Meenu Chaudhary said in the press conference that due to the tractor rally, common people are advised to avoid National Highway-10, Rohtak Road, Tikri Border, Nangloi, Najafgarh Road and Najafgarh-Jharoda Border.
Route of first tractor rally
The farmers’ first tractor rally will go from Singhu Border to Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar, DTU, Shahabad Dairy, Barwala Village, Puth Khurd Village, Kanjhawala Tea Point, Kanjhawala Chowk, Qutubgarh, Auchandi Border and Kharkhoda Toll Plaza. Chaudhary said traffic diverted from National Highway-44, GT-Karnal Road towards Singhu Shani Temple, Ashok Farm / Jaunati Toll, Hamidpur, Sundarpur Majra, Jindopur Mukmailpur, Kadipur, Kushak Colony, Mukarba Chowk and GTK Depot. Route to second tractor rally
Chaudhary said that the second tractor rally of farmers will start from the Tikari border and will pass through Nangloi, Baprola village, Najafgarh. It will not pass through Firni Road, Jharoda Border, Rohtak Bypass (Bahadurgarh) and Asoda Toll Plaza. Traffic will be diverted from various places. Traffic will not be allowed to come on Rohtak Road from Kiradi turn and it will be diverted towards Mongol Puri. Apart from this, traffic will also be diverted towards Kanjhawala from Ghevra turn.
Route to the third tractor rally
The third tractor rally will originate from the Ghazipur border. It will reach some parts of NH-24, from where it will take the right turn to Road No. 56, ISBT Anand Vihar, Apsara Border, Hapur Road, Bhopura, IMS College, Lal Kuan via Ghazipur Border. Delhi Police has said that no commercial vehicles or buses will be allowed from the ring road on NH 24 and DND. Traffic on NH 24 will be diverted from Nizamuddin Khatta Side to Pusta Road and Mother Dairy Road near Akshardham. Traffic will not be allowed on NH 24 from the paper market.
Traffic will not be allowed from Hasanpur Depot, Patparganj Industrial Area, Ashoka Niketan, Vivekananda Women’s College, ITI College and Ram Mandir Vivek Vihar towards Road No. 56.

Anand Vihar bus station will remain closed
In view of the tractor parade of farmers, the Anand Vihar bus base will be closed for the whole day on 26 January as a precautionary measure. KK Dahiya, Special Commissioner (Operations), Transport Department, Delhi Government, said, “As a rescue measure, Anand Vihar bus base will remain closed on Tuesday. All buses going to this bus stand will be sent to Sarai Kale Khan Bus Station. ”
