Thane: The Chitlasar Police of Thane, while searching for a stolen mobile, caught a thug running a fake call center. The police, exposing the fake call center, seized goods worth 2 lakh 57 thousand 200 from the accused cheaters. Calls were made from fake exchanges to Gulf countries and that call was a local call. Sim cards were taken from Fake Id and paper papers.
Dr. Vinay Rathod, DCP, Zone 5, Thane Police Commissionerate, said that a case of mobile theft was registered a few days ago at Chitalsar police station. The police was starting a search for the mobile. During the search, while going to Ganesh Building, New Tower Compound, Narpoli, the premises of the mobile shop were searched and found in it 3 sim boxes, 195 airtel sim cards, 2 Wi-Fi, 1 HP laptop, thus totaling 2 lakh 57 thousand 200 . When the police investigated the employee of the shop, shocking information came to the fore.

The accused was running the fake call center through the given symbol and WiFi router by diverting calls from abroad to Indian numbers. Police have arrested both the accused in total and registered a case against them at Bhoiwada police station. According to the police officer, VoIP internet calls coming from abroad were diverted to fake exchanges with the help of routers and then they were local calls and not foreign calls.
