The issue was raised by the opposition
On the very first day of the budget session of the legislature, BJP MLAs raised the issue of power failure. Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis has also taken an aggressive stand regarding power cuts. On Tuesday, the MLAs raised the issue of cutting electricity connections of farmers in the Vidhan Sabha by arbitrary method. Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Devendra Fadnavis took an aggressive stand and said that Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar had clearly said in the last session that the electricity connection of farmers would not be cut till May, but why the promises made in the convention are not being fulfilled. Huh. The government had agreed to hold a discussion on the power cut in the House, but after the proceedings of the House began, the discussion on a different issue started. It is becoming clear from this that the state government has no sympathy for the farmers.
On behalf of Mahavitaran company, electricity is being provided to about 3 crore customers in the state. Rs 9011 crore with local body bodies, Rs 207 crore electricity bill is left with government offices. We have to give electricity subsidy to the industries of powerloom, Vidarbha-Marathwada. Considering the financial difficulties of Mahavitaran, customers should pay their bills on time.
-Doctor. Nitin Raut, Energy Minister
Mahavikasaghadi government bows down, just the one who bows is needed! From the very first day of the convention, the BJP raised the issues of farmers, due to which the government had to bow down in the context of farmers cutting electricity. The power connection cut has been ordered to stop with immediate effect. BJP has always stood firmly in the interest of farmers.
