Nagpur. With regard to the general elections of the Municipal Corporation, the draft of the division composition will be revealed soon, with the possible candidates in each division, all the political parties will be engaged in exploring the possibilities of victory. In such a situation, even if the general election of the Municipal Corporation is on the head, but the workers who want to see the picture of Mahavikas Aghadi in the elections of the Municipal Corporation on the lines of the state are currently in despair. Aghadi’s future is in limbo regarding municipal elections. Even there is neither any discussion about it nor any indication of any kind of meetings is being revealed. On the contrary, the slogan of Ekla Chalo Re is seen rising in the constituent parties of Mahavikas Aghadi.
According to political experts, the absence of former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh is the biggest factor to tie the Congress and the NCP together. Although both the parties have fought separately in the municipal elections many times, but all the time there have been efforts for an electoral alliance. But there is no such activity in this election.
‘Feel good factor’ in BJP
According to political experts, there is a difficult period at present for the BJP, which has been in power in the Municipal Corporation for the last 15 years. Many times development works are counted only on the basis of the achievement of the central leader. But now people have become smart. Voters do not want to listen to the same rhetoric as this issue does not seem to work for the elections. Therefore, splitting and distribution of votes in the opposing party can be a big force. This is the reason that the feel-good factor is being considered in the BJP as there is no formal dialogue between the constituents of Mahavikas Aghadi so far. According to political experts, there is anger against the ruling party on many issues related to city development. Even though the ruling party may beat the stigma of development, but voters believe that it is all on paper.
Army waiting for orders
According to sources, the local leaders of Shiv Sena do not have the right to even discuss about forming an alliance like Mahavikas Aghadi at the local level or moving forward in this direction. This is the reason why the local unit of the army is waiting for orders from Mumbai. It is believed that as soon as the order is received from Mumbai, the roadmap for the election will be decided in that direction. Apart from this, possibilities are also being explored in each division at the primary level. There is one councilor of NCP in Municipal Corporation. While the army has 2 councillors. The NCP councilor is also the president of the party. Due to which he has a decisive weight within the party. But both the councilors of the army are not questioned in the organization itself. Due to which the entire opposition is seen scattered for the BJP.
