Jalgaon : The work of Vehicle Underpass is going on on the Tarsod Phata here. But the highway has been disrupted due to the work of the bridge. These road accidents have increased due to always getting traffic jams here. The contractor has prepared an alternate route but it is only 12 to 15 feet wide. Because of this, heavy vehicles have to work hard to pass through this route. During this, accidents are taking place due to many vehicles colliding with each other.
The work of the bridge is going on for the last eight days. The contractor needed to prepare the side road before starting the bridge work. But by not doing so, a very short alternative road has been prepared. It is very narrow. Heavy and big vehicles pass through the highway. But big vehicles are getting stuck while passing through this alternate route. Due to this there is a traffic jam. Unnecessarily large speed breakers have been made in the alternate route. Because of this the vehicles are colliding with each other. On the other side there is a pothole in the turning road. A big pit has been made for the basement of the bridge nearby.

Due to the traffic jam, there is a danger of the vehicles falling into the pothole while trying to move the vehicle forward. There are no direction boards in the turning road and there are no street lights as well. Because of this, it is difficult for vehicles to get an idea of the road at night. The contractor should have made the side road earlier while widening the highway. After this there was a need to prepare the main wide road. But by not doing so, due to the preparation of the main wide road first, there is a traffic jam on the highway.
NHAI officials neglected
Road widening work is going on between Tarsod to Fagne Highway. Along with this, the work of building a bridge on the bypass is also going on. NHAI (National Highways Authority of India) did not give instructions to take precautions so that there is no traffic jam here. The contractor did not prepare an alternative good road so that there is no traffic jam here. Vehicle owners are accusing the officials of the National Highway Authority of not paying attention to this problem.
