However, the Supreme Court said that there is no complete ban on the bursting of crackers, but such firecrackers which contain Borium salt will be banned.
Delhi
The Delhi Pollution Control Board has completely banned the sale, purchase and burning of firecrackers in the capital Delhi till January 1.
Haryana
The Haryana government has banned the sale and use of all types of firecrackers in all its districts. The state government has given permission to burn green crackers. Exemption is given on running green firecrackers in wedding ceremonies.
Karnataka
The Karnataka government has given permission to burn only green crackers here. Along with this, he has asked people to strictly follow the rules of Corona during this period. Shopkeepers will also have to obtain a license to sell green crackers.

West Bengal
The West Bengal Pollution Control Board had earlier said that burning of green crackers would be allowed from 8 pm to 10 pm on the occasion of Diwali and Kali Puja. Lighting of green crackers will be allowed from 6 am to 8 am for Chhath Puja.
Uttar Pradesh
The Uttar Pradesh government has said that in cities where the air quality is poor, there will be a complete ban on the sale and use of firecrackers.
Rajasthan
The Rajasthan government has allowed only green crackers to be burst on the occasion of Diwali. In view of the festive season, the state government has issued instructions regarding the burning of crackers.
Madhya Pradesh
The Madhya Pradesh government, while issuing a guideline on firecrackers for Diwali, said that in cities whose air quality is below 100 to 200, green crackers can be burst for two hours on the day of Diwali. Apart from this, crackers will not be allowed in cities where the Air Quality Index is more than 200.
Chhattisgarh
The Chhattisgarh government has fixed the time for bursting crackers from Diwali to New Year. Online crackers will not be available for festivals. The government has banned the sale and purchase of crackers online.
