Digvijay Singh compares RSS with termites, targets Yogi Adityanath

The Congress leader said that some people are engaged in spreading the falsehood that Hinduism is in danger to further the fascist ideology, while Hinduism has never been under threat even during hundreds of years of Muslim rule and British rule in the country.

Senior Congress leader and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh has launched a scathing attack on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He compared the RSS to a termite making the house hollow inside. Along with this, he also accused Yogi Adityanath of promoting divisive thinking through his speeches. He also said that to further the fascist ideology in the country, efforts are being made to spread the falsehood that Hinduism is in danger.

During a conversation with reporters in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, Digvijay Singh said that the RSS, the ideological guru of BJP, is like a termite, which silently damages a house and its contents. RSS also works covertly in the same way and destroys the whole system. Digvijay Singh said, “I know that I will get a lot of abuse for comparing RSS with termites, but I did not call RSS a termite. I said that the character of an ideology that silently damages the entire system of the country is like a termite.

Only Hindu-Muslim talk in CM Yogi’s speeches: Digvijay

Talking about the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Digvijay Singh told reporters, “You must have heard the speeches of Yogi Adityanath. Have you heard anything other than Hindu-Muslim, Hindustan-Pakistan or cremation-cemetery in his speeches?

He said that an attempt is being made to spread the lie that Hinduism is in danger. This is being done only so that the fascist ideology can be carried forward and money can be made through political positions. Whereas the truth is that even under hundreds of years of Muslim rule in India and the British who believed in Christianity, Hinduism was never in danger.
