DMRC said on Twitter that an additional interchange station has been inaugurated at Punjabi Bagh which connects the Green and Pink lines.
He informed that the new interchange station located on Green Line provides connectivity between Green and Pink at Punjabi Bagh West station and was inaugurated by Dr. Mangu Singh, Managing Director, DMRC. The footover bridge connects the platforms of the Punjabi Bagh West Metro station to the Pink Line. Pink Line is from Majlis Park to Shiv Vihar.
A senior official said the new interchange station (Punjabi Bagh West station) on the Green Line is not a conventional station and has been built despite engineering challenges to help connect the two lines. He said that the entry and exit of this station will be from Punjabi Bagh West station of Pink Line only.
