Nagpur. A criminal and his accomplices attacked the uncle-nephew who were having food at Savji Hotel under Rana Pratapnagar police station. It is said that after a minor argument about pushing the chair, youths of criminal tendencies attacked both of them by stabbing them with knives and hammers. While the uncle is seriously injured, the nephew has also suffered minor injuries. The injured youth was said to be Amardeep Bhimrao Patil (28), a resident of Patil Layout, Indraprasthanagar. The police have registered a case on the complaint of his nephew Shubham Sunil Patil (23).
The accused include Harshal Rakesh Brahmane (21), resident of Gate Layout, Preet alias Chhotu Vanjari (19) resident of Jayatala and Nikhil Ramesh Damke (21), resident of Jayatala. Even before this, information has been received that criminal cases have been registered against Nikhil. He is addicted to ganja and also sells goods to the youth.
On Tuesday night, Amardeep and Shubham went to the Maratha Durbar Savji Hotel in Swavalambinagar to have a meal with their friend. The drunken accused youth had also come there to have food. Amardeep was shocked by Nikhil as he was sitting on the chair back and forth. Just on this matter, all three started a dispute. Shubham tried to convince them but all three clashed on Amardeep.
Harshal hit a chair on Amardeep’s head. During this, the accused took out the knife. He also had a hammer. Tried to kill Amardeep by hitting him on the head. Seeing the matter deteriorating, Amardeep’s friend ran away. When Shubham tried to intervene, the accused also beat him up and fled.
The incident was informed to the police. Pratapnagar police reached the spot as soon as the news was received. Amardeep and Shubham were taken to a private hospital. The police registered a case of attempt to murder and took the accused youths into custody.
