Pimpri: The Supreme Court has given conditional approval to start the bullock cart race by removing the ban on it. Within a few hours of this decision, credit disputes have erupted across the state including Pimpri-Chinchwad and Pune districts. BJP and Mahavikas Aghadi are busy putting their stamp of success on the government’s leader or decision. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar called it a success of the Mahavikas Aghadi government, while Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis called the Supreme Court’s decision a law made during his government’s tenure as a classic report and lifting the ban on the race. Under the leadership of MLA Mahesh Landge, told the success of the follow-up done by the central government.

Due to the efforts of the state government, finally the bullock cart race has been allowed in Maharashtra. Animal Husbandry, Dairy Business and Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Sunil Kedar said that the promise of restarting bullock cart race in the state has been fulfilled today and I am satisfied and happy with this decision. Bullock cart race is closed since last 4 years. Defending the farmers in court, the government reassured the bullock cart lovers. He said that this decision will help them financially as the rural economy is dependent on bullocks. Keeping in view the provisions of the Supreme Court’s 2014 order with respect to bullock cart races and subject to strict implementation of the law made by the State of Maharashtra in 2017 with respect to bullock cart races and the rules framed thereunder, Kedar said that the State thereafter Removing the ban, the government has given permission to start the bullock cart race according to the rules and regulations of the bullock cart race of 1960.

After this result, Nationalist Congress MP Dr. Amol Kolhe expressed happiness and congratulated everyone, but at the same time he said that today’s victory is not the last.
