Those traveling abroad for studies and jobs will now have to link their co-vin certificate with their passport. This will also be necessary for the players included in the Indian contingent in the Tokyo Olympics. It was demanded from the Ministry of Health that those whose travel schedule falls before the gap of 84 days required for the second vaccine of Kovidshield, they should be allowed to go out early. According to the guidelines issued after this, after 28 days for foreign travel, the second dose of Covishield can be taken at any time. The passport number will be written on the Vaccination Certificate. Those traveling abroad on the Co-Win platform will get this special facility soon.
This rule is only for those with coveshield
According to the instructions of the ministry, people traveling abroad will use passport as ID proof to get vaccinated. Any valid ID card details must be attached on the certificate if the passport is not used for the first dose. This certificate will be linked with the passport. In the case of foreign travel, only for those with a co-shield, the passport number will be mentioned along with the certificate. This facility will not be available for any other corona vaccine. This facility is for those people above 18 years, who want to travel abroad till 31 August. At present, there is a gap of at least 84 days between Covishield doses. But students going abroad, employed and athletes will be exempted from this. Now only 28 days gap will have to be kept.
