The Railways on Thursday extended the guidelines related to COVID for six months. The guidelines have been extended till further notice. In the notification of the Ministry of Railways, it has been said that non-applying of masks in station premises, railway buildings and trains can attract a fine of Rs 500. Apart from this, violation of other provisions of the guidelines can also be fined.

Indian Railway Service has tweeted and said, “Passengers are requested to read the health advisory guidelines there before starting their journey to any state. According to the order issued by the Railway Board, the provision of fine for not applying masks in railway premises was till September but now it has been extended for another six months. “

At present, less than 30 thousand cases of daily infection in the country
This notification has been issued at a time when 22,431 cases of COVID-19 have been found positive in the country in a day. The number of people infected with corona in the country has increased to 3,38,94,312. The number of active cases has come down to 2,44,198. This is the lowest level of the last 204 days. So far 4,49,856 people have died due to COVID-19 in the country. There were 318 new deaths till 8 am on 7 October. For the 13th consecutive day, the corona virus infection (per day) has been less than 30 thousand.
