The world’s largest Covid19 vaccination program has started on 16 January. For this, the indigenous Corona vaccine Covaxin manufacturer Bharat Biotak has released a FAQ related to it. In this, pregnant women or breast-feeding women are advised not to get vaccinated. Apart from this, Bharat Biotech has also advised people with high fever and bleeding disorders not to take Covaxin vaccine.
Indigenous vaccine maker Bharat Biotech has released a fact sheet attached to it on its website. It was said that how effective the vaccine is, it is being studied in the third phase clinical trial. In such a situation, the company has said that despite taking the dose of vaccine, precautions related to COVID-19 are necessary.
Advised not to get these people vaccinated
- The company has advised in a questionnaire issued on its website that if someone has allergies then they should not get Corona vaccine.
- People with high fever or bleeding disorder should also not be vaccinated with cocaine.
- The company has said that pregnant women or breast-feeding their children should not be given this vaccine.
- Do not get vaccinated if you have a serious health problem according to the officer applying the vaccine or supervising the vaccination.

Please provide health information before getting vaccinated
The company has said that before getting the vaccine, people should give information about their medical condition to the vaccine or supervising official. Bharat Biotech says that in the clinical trial so far it has been found that immunity is developing from two doses given at the interval of four weeks. On 16 January, the company announced compensation in case of any side effects from the vaccine.
Covaxin is the indigenous vaccine
In the fight against the Corona epidemic, two vaccines in India have received emergency approval, including cocaine. It is a completely indigenous vaccine that Bharat Biotech has prepared in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the National Institute of Virology. It has been made in Bharat Biotech’s BSL-3 (Bio-Safety Level-3) biocontinent facility.

Apart from Covaxin, the Serum Institute of India has also issued an advisory regarding the vaccine Kovishield has made. The Serum Institute has suggested that people who are allergic to any of the ingredients of the corona vaccine should not be vaccinated. According to the fact sheet issued by the company, if an allergic reaction is coming out after the first dose, then the KoviShield vaccine should not be installed. Apart from this, the company said that you must tell your medical conditions before getting the vaccine. According to the factsheet, do not get vaccinated if there is a problem of fever or bleeding disorder. Apart from this, if you are pregnant or preparing for pregnancy, then give the information to the vaccinator. If you have taken the first dose of Corona vaccine, then please also inform about it.
Letter of comfort to Bharat Biotech for 45 lakh doses
Bharat Biotech has received a letter of comfort from the central government for 45 lakh doses of Covaxin. Out of this, over eight lakh doses will be supplied to allied countries like Mauritius, Philippines and Myanmar for free. According to information received by the PTI agency from the source, the company has received a fresh letter of comfort for the supply of 4.5 million doses of Covaxin. After receiving the order from the Ministry, they will start sending.
