Covid-19 Vaccine India: The Maharashtra cabinet on Wednesday decided to provide free vaccine of COVID-19 to everyone between 18 and 44 years of age under the leadership of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. This information was given by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO). However, the lack of vaccine in the state has also come to light. Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope has said that he has the entire infrastructure to get vaccinated, but there is not enough vaccine available. He said that the Chief Minister is talking to different vaccine manufacturers.
18-44 year old people will have separate center
Tope said that there will be separate centers for vaccination of people between the age of 18-44 in the state. On Wednesday, many vaccination centers in Mumbai were unable to function due to lack of non-availability of anti-COVID-19 vaccine. These include Civics, hospitals run by the state government and private units. Many people had to return disappointed due to this.
According to the list tweeted by BMC, on Wednesday only 75 centers out of a total of 135 worked. The 75 centers served include 32 private centers and many civics and 11 government-run centers.
Covid-19 Vaccination: At present, only registration of 18+ people, state governments and private vaccination centers will tell when to get vaccine.
According to the ANI, vaccination at the vaccination center of NESCO in Mumbai also stopped on Wednesday. The reason for this was the shortage of vaccine. One man said that initially he went to the BKC Center, but there is no vaccination, so he came here and waited, when it was announced that the vaccine stock was over.
Meanwhile, the state health minister said that all members of the Maharashtra cabinet are of the opinion that the current COVID-19 restrictions should be extended for the next 15 days.
