Covid 19 Updates: The world’s largest corona vaccination program has been started on January 16 across the country. However, for the last few days once again, the concern of the central government has increased due to the increasing cases of corona infection. Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla has written a letter to all the states and union territories regarding this. In the letter, Bhalla has ordered to extend the Corona Virus Guidelines by 31 March.
Since last few days, due to increasing cases of corona infection in some parts of the country, many states have issued necessary instructions for people coming from some other states. Under this, they have to submit a negative corona report of up to 72 hours. Without this, they will not get admission in the state.

Emphasis on due diligence and strict monitoring
In a letter sent to the states and union territories, the Union Home Secretary wrote that caution and strict monitoring is needed to completely eradicate the corona epidemic. Bhalla said that the guidelines issued under the SOP should be strictly followed. Please tell that SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) are such instructions which have been issued by the Authority regarding Corona.

There will be no restriction on going from one state to another
In a separate letter to the Chief Secretaries of the States / Union Territories and the Administrator / Administrator Adviser, the Union Home Secretary Bhalla has asked to implement the SOP strictly. Bhalla said that there will be no restriction on the movement of any person or movement of goods from one state to another.
According to the data given on the website of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, as of 8 am on 27 February 2021, there are 159590 active cases of corona infection and 3604 active cases have increased in a day. 156938 people have died due to corona infection, out of which 113 people have died in the last one day. So far 1,42,42,577 people have been vaccinated in the country and 7,69,404 people have been vaccinated in the last one day.
