Covid-19 Updates: The corona crisis is once again increasing rapidly across the country and this time a large number of people are getting infected. In the last 24 hours, a record 1,26,789 new cases of corona have been reported and so far, 1,29,28,574 people have been infected across the country including these cases. However, there are 9,10,319 active cases of corona across the country. In view of the increasing cases of Corona epidemic, today PM Narendra Modi will hold a virtual meeting with the Chief Ministers / Administrators of all the States / Union Territories. In this meeting, discussions will be held to stop the growing infection of the corona epidemic. In the last 24 hours, 685 people have died due to corona and so far 1,66,862 people have died due to corona.

Night curfew-weekend lockdown due to Corona
Corona infection is increasing once again across the country. Some states have announced night curfew and some states have also imposed weekend lockdown. Apart from this, rules have been tightened regarding people coming from other states. Maharashtra has imposed night curfew and weekend lockdown and has also imposed a night curfew in Delhi till April 30. A lockdown of 10 days has been imposed in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, and a night curfew has been imposed in Lucknow, Prayagraj and Varanasi of UP from 8 April today. Night curfew will remain in Prayagraj from 10 am to 8 am the next day and in Lucknow from 9 am to 6 am.
According to the news of the routers, New Zealand has banned the entry of all travelers coming from India to their country, even if they are New Zealand citizens. Announcing this, New Zealand’s PM Jesinda said that this decision will be applicable from April 11 to April 28.
PM Modi got second dose of covaxine
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today conducted the second dose of Covid-19 Vaccine on 8 April. He got the vaccine dose done at AIIMS in New Delhi. On this occasion, PM Modi has appealed to all eligible people to get the vaccine dose to defeat the corona virus. PM Modi had the first dose of vaccine in AIIMS on 1 March.
