Coronavirus New Guidelines: The Union Home Ministry on Wednesday has allowed cinema halls and theatres to continue to operate with greater capacity under the new guidelines related to COVID-19. At the same time, the swimming pool has also been approved to open to all. These new guidelines will be applicable from 1 February. According to this, there will be no restriction on movement within states or from one state to another. There will be no need to get any permission for this.
Up to 200 people allowed in closed places
Social, religious, sports, entertainment, educational, cultural, religious programs have already been allowed to open in the hall with a maximum capacity of 50 per cent. Up to 200 people will be allowed in closed places. It has been said in the guidelines that the states and union territories concerned will be allowed according to the SOP. Cinema halls and theatres were allowed to open with a maximum capacity of 50 per cent. Now they will be able to work with more capacity. For this, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting will issue a revised SOP in consultation with the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The swimming pool was already allowed for the players. Now permission has been given to open it for everyone. The Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs will issue a revised SOP for this in consultation with the Union Home Ministry. Permission for the business exhibition has already been given. All types of exhibitions will now be allowed. For this, the Department of Commerce will issue the SOP in consultation with the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.
