Among the countries with the highest number of deaths, India has overtaken Mexico to the third position. In this case, America is at number one, while Brazil is at number two.

Most havoc among these 5 states
About 54 percent of the country’s active cases are in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Maharashtra had the highest number of 561347 cases on May 11, followed by 587472 in Karnataka, 424309 in Kerala, 216057 in Uttar Pradesh and 205730 in Rajasthan.
46,781 new cases in Maharashtra
On Wednesday, 46,781 new cases of COVID were reported and 816 deaths occurred in Maharashtra. The total cases of infection in the state increased to 52,26,710, while the number of deaths increased to 78,007. 58,805 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours in the state. With this, the number of people who have been cured so far has increased to 46,00,196.
