COVID-19 New Cases in India: The second wave of Corona virus in the country seems to be breaking at the speed. Due to the lockdown and vaccination in different states of the country, new cases of corona infection are continuously decreasing. According to the Health Ministry, there have been 1,86,364 new cases of Carona virus in the country in the last 24 hours. While 3660 patients died during this period. Earlier, on Wednesday, 2,11,298 new cases were reported in 1 day and 3847 patients died. It is also a matter of relief that more number of patients are recovering from new cases. At the same time, active cases are getting reduced continuously. The death rate of corona in the country is 1.15 percent while the recovery rate is more than 90 percent. Active cases have come down to less than 9 percent.
Active cases decreased continuously
Active cases have come down to less than 11 percent. At present, the number of active cases in the country is 23,43,152. Whereas in May itself, the active cases had increased to more than 37 lakhs. India ranks second in the world in the Corona Active case. In the last 24 hours, 2,59,459 patients have recovered from Corona virus. So far, the number of patients recovering from corona virus has increased to 2,48,93,410. This is the 14th consecutive day when the number of patients recovering more from new cases has been there.

3,18,895 lakh deaths so far

Less than 22 thousand cases in Maharashtra
On Thursday, 21,273 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Maharashtra, raising the total infection cases in the state to 56,72,180, while the death toll from the epidemic in the state increased to 92,225 with 425 patients killed. According to the Health Department, so far 5672180 people have been infected with corona in the state and out of these 5276203 people have been cured. So far 92225 patients have died. At present, 301041 patients are under treatment.
Cases control in Delhi and UP
Corona virus cases have come down to 1072 in the last 24 hours in the capital Delhi, while 117 patients died in 1 day. There has been a steady decrease in the positivity rate and death rate here. At the same time, in Uttar Pradesh also, the number of 1-day cases has come down to 3181. There have been 187 deaths in the last 24 hours here.
