Coronavirus New cases Updates: Corona virus has not wreaked havoc in the country. The second wave of corona virus is constantly scaring. How dangerous the second wave is, can be gauged by the fact that in the last 24 hours, there have been 96982 new cases of Corona virus in the country. During this time, 446 people have died. According to the Ministry of Health, the total cases of infection have reached 12,686,049 in the country so far. 5.89 percent of the total cases are active cases. The number of active cases in the country has increased to 7,88,223.
There have been 50143 recoveries in the country within 24 hours. The total recovered cases have been 1,17,32,279. After 446 new deaths, the number of people who died of this disease in the country has reached 1,65,547. The percentage of people who are discharged or recovering is 92.80 and 1.31 per cent people have died. A total of 8,31,10,926 people have been vaccinated so far. ICMR said that till April 5, 25,02,31,269 samples have been tested.

47,288 new cases in 1 day in Maharashtra
Maharashtra’s condition is worst. There have been 47,288 new cases of corona virus in the state in the last 24 hours. During this period, 26,252 people were discharged and 155 people died. Till now, the total cases have increased to 30,57,885. So far, the total number of discharges is 25,49,075, so a total of 56,033 people have died. 4,51,375 in the state right now
There are active cases.
Health Minister’s meeting with states
Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan will hold a meeting with health ministers of 11 states and union territories on Tuesday to review the increase in cases of corona virus infection. These 11 states are Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Rajasthan. There has been a sharp increase in the cases of COVID-19 in these states.

In view of the increasing cases of Corona virus infection in the capital, the Delhi government is considering a proposal to impose night curfew. This time can be from ten o’clock in the night to five o’clock in the morning.
3999 new cases in Uttar Pradesh
In the last 24 hours in Uttar Pradesh, 13 more people died from COVID-19. The total number of epidemic cases in the state has increased to 6,34,033 with 3,999 new cases of infection reported during this period. There are currently 22,820 active cases in the state.
