Igatpuri: During the investigation at the English Medium Residential Ashram School of Tribal Development Department in Mundhegaon of Igatpuri Tehsil, the corona report of 14 students has come positive. The affected students have been admitted to the government hospital and their condition is stable.
The officials are also surprised by the sudden large number of corona explosions in Mundhegaon Ashram School. In Igatpuri tehsil, there was a decrease in the number of corona patients for a few months. Due to the vigilance of the Health Department, the vaccination campaign was in full swing in the tehsil.

A student of this ashram school had developed fever on Monday (December 6). He tested for antigens. In the RTPCR investigation of the remaining 349 students, it was revealed that on December 9, the report of 14 students has come positive. On Monday (December 6) and Tuesday (December 7) a child of the Ashram school showed symptoms like fever and cough. As a precaution, all the resident students were tested by Tehsil Medical Officer M.B. Deshmukh did it. 14 positive students have been admitted to the government hospital in Nashik. The health department said all were in stable condition and had mild symptoms.

In this ashram school, District Health Officer Dr. Kapil Aher, Additional District Health Officer, Tehsil Health Officer of Igatpuri, Dr. Yuvraj Deore, M.B. Deshmukh visited and gave health related instructions. Against the backdrop of this incident, parents are demanding that tests should be conducted in all residential ashram schools in the tehsil.
