Chandrapur: In the year before the outbreak of the corona epidemic, dengue, malaria, encephalitis, chandipura, chikungunya, AES disease were most visible as the most commonly affected disease. The number of patients of this disease was seen increasing year after year. But ever since the corona epidemic has shown its effect, the names of these diseases, which are considered fatal, have not surfaced. In the year 2021, where 591 patients of Dengue were found, only 4 people died.
At the same time, 151 patients of malaria were found and 5 of them died. Whereas Corona patients were found in thousands and so far 1550 people have died in the district itself. In this way, Corona has completely dominated all the diseases. Where there is only panic of Corona. There does not seem to be getting rid of this epidemic. New variants one after the other are creating fear among the people.
Amidst this crisis of Corona, a total of 591 dengue patients were found in the district in the year 2021, out of which 265 were found in the Metropolitan Municipality area. Of the total 4 patients who died of dengue, 2 are from Korpana tehsil, one from Warora and one patient from Gondpipri. The maximum number of 114 patients were found in Gondpipri Tehsil throughout the year. In the same 151 patients of malaria were found, out of which 5 people died, including 4 in Sindewahi and one patient in Nagbhid.
Dengue effect in August, September, October
If we look at the tehsil level effect of Dengue, in the month of August, 53 patients were found in Gondpipri, out of which one died. 22 patients were found in September, 12 patients were found in October, 27 patients were found in Ballarpur in August, 5 in September and 2 patients were found in October, 20 patients were found in Bhadravati, 21 patients in September, 4 patients were found in October, Warora tehsil in August 12 patients were found in September, 15 from September and 4 patients were found in October. In Chandrapur, 11 patients were found in August and September and 3 in October. Throughout the year 114 in Gondpipar, 38 in Ballarpur, 53 in Bhadravati,
42 patients were found in Warora, 26 patients in Chandrapur, 14 in Korpana, 17 in Rajura while the number of patients in other tehsils remained within ten. Generally, the effect of dengue lasts till August, September, October and November. In Chandrapur city, 104 patients were found in August, 71 in September and 26 in October. Where there was a situation of malaria, 151 patients were found in a year, in which the maximum number of 44 patients were found in the month of August. In the same month, 11 patients were found in Sindewahi and 14 in Nagbhid.
Data from January 2019 to December 2021
Between January 2019 and December 2021, malaria, dengue, chikungunya, encephalitis, Chandipura, AES were reported in the district. In the data of the patients’ examination, in the year 2019, 730195 malaria patients were examined, out of which 53 were found positive and one patient died during this period. In the year 2020, 545319 patients were examined out of which 196 were found positive and 3 died. In the year 2021, 493104 patients were examined out of which 151 were found positive and a total of 5 people died.
In the year 2019, out of 1338 patients of Dengue, 465 positives were found and 2 died. In the year 2020, out of 931 patients, 204 patients were found, in the year 2021, 2271 patients were examined in which 591 positives were found out of which 4 died.
In the year 2019, not a single patient of Chikungunya was found. In the year 2020, 108 were tested out of which 15 were found, in the year 2019, 14 out of 25 patients were found, out of which 6 died. In the year 2020, 28 tests were done out of which one was found positive. In the year 2021, samples of 24 people were taken, out of which one was found positive. In the year 2019 of AES, 29 people were tested out of which 28 were found positive and 6 died.
In the year 2020, 1 patient was found. Not a single patient was found in the year 2021. While not a single patient of Chandipura disease was found in three years. In other fever, samples of 6 people were taken in the year 2021, out of which one has died.
