Due to the increase in the number of infected and deaths, the outbreak of the third wave of corona is also visible in the tribal-dominated Gadchiroli district, which is located at the extreme end of the state. The increasing number of positive patients is increasing the concern of the administration.
Today on Saturday, a 30-year-old corona-obstructed woman from Road Arjuni Tehsil of Gondia district died of sickle cell disease. At the same time, 88 new infected have been found today. On Friday, a 70-year-old man, resident of Ramnagar in Gadchiroli tehsil, died. After a period of 6 months, due to this death of 2 days in the district, the number of corona victims in the district has reached 749. Due to these deaths, patients from outside districts are included along with patients from urban and rural areas of the district.
Today on Saturday, a total of 30 such patients, both urban and rural, have returned home after getting healthy. A total of 31503 infected have been found so far in the district. In which 30251 patients have become corona free. At the same time, treatment is started on 502 active patients. In view of the increasing number of infected people in the district, the Health Department along with the district administration has started a remedial plan. Administration has also come on action mode. But the ever-increasing number of infected is seen presenting a new call before the administration.
88 new infected found in a day
Today, 88 new coronas have been found infected in 800 corona tests conducted throughout the day on Saturday. At the same time 30 patients have become corona free. The newly infected include 47 patients of Gadchiroli tehsil, Aheri 12, Armori 2, Bhamragad 4, Dhanora 3, Etapalli 3, Sironcha 1, Korchi 2, Kurkheda 5 and 9 patients of Desaiganj tehsil. At the same time, 30 patients who have been corona-free include Gadchiroli 21, Bhamragad 1, Chamorshi 7 and 1 patient from Mulchera tehsil.
Active patients increased by 1.56 percent in the fortnight
There were only 9 active patients in the district on the first day of the new year. But till January 15, there has been an increase of a total of 502 active patients. In just a fortnight, the number of positive patients is becoming a matter of concern for the district. The proof of active patients on January 1 was 0.3 percent. At the same time, on Saturday, the proof of active patients has reached 1.59 percent. Due to which the concern of the administration has also increased due to the increase in about 1.56 percent active patients in a fortnight.
Tehsil wise active patient
At present 502 patients are active in the district, treatment is on them. Gadchiroli tehsil has maximum 290 active patients. Due to the continuous increase in infected patients in Gadchiroli tehsil, alarm bells have started ringing in the tehsil. Wherein 71 active patients in Aheri tehsil, Armori 15, Bhamragad 16, Chamorshi 20, Dhanora 17, Etapalli 14, Kurkheda 5, Mulchera 7, Sironcha 5 and 34 active patients in Desaiganj tehsil under the supervision of doctors in home quarantine with hospital is starting.
