Thane: The Gharkul scheme under Thane Zilla Parishad is being implemented through Thane District Rural Development Agency and in five years from 2016-17 to 2020-21, Shahapur, 9 thousand 489 thousand houses have been completed for five taluks of Murbad, Ambernath, Bhiwandi and Kalyan. This performance ranks third in the state and first in the Konkan region. Although the implementation of central and state sponsored housing schemes in rural areas of the district is getting better through Zilla Parishad. But the goal is to complete 100 percent work of these houses being built for the poor. The said things were given by Dr. Bhausaheb Dangde, Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad.
On Thursday, Dangde took a meeting of Development Officer, Extension Officer, Village Development Officer and Gram Sevaks Rural Housing Engineer of all the groups of Zilla Parishad. In this meeting held online, he instructed everyone. Describing it as the target of 100% households, he directed all the gram panchayats to finalize the priority list of Form D and submit it at the district level by January 5.

In this meeting, Dr. Dangde did a thorough review of the incomplete houses on the basis of Gram Panchayat. He also learned why the houses of the beneficiaries are incomplete. He also said that everyone should have a role to play in helping the beneficiaries by understanding the difficulties faced in completing the homework. In addition, demo houses have been set up in every taluka. He also said that a demo house should be shown to each beneficiary and the beneficiaries should be encouraged to build houses in that way.
At present 478 houses of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana are incomplete in the district while 283 houses of state sponsored scheme are incomplete. A total of 761 such houses are incomplete. Try to complete these houses and build a permanent home for the beneficiaries.
