The outstanding electricity bill was waived till 31 August

The order has also been issued to the power department to pass this order. Warning of movement in Congress
In Madhya Pradesh, where the electricity bill was constantly increasing, the opposition was constantly targeting the government on this matter. The Congress party had also issued a warning to the government of Shivraj Singh Chauhan that if the government did not waive the electricity bill, the agitation would be organized. In such a situation, Shivraj Singh Chauhan has waived the electricity bill in the state, while scolding the Congress. The government of Shivraj Singh Chauhan has also issued an order to the Energy Department, declaring not to take the electricity bill till 31 August. 4
Electricity bill to be paid from September 1
After Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s announcement of waiving the electricity bill of electricity, now consumers will not have to submit the bill to the electricity department till 31 August. Electricity bills will now be linked to consumers from September 1, under which consumers with 1-kilowatt connection will now have to pay electricity bills. Note that the Chief Minister has also ordered the officials concerned to follow this order. 4
