Dhamangaon Garhi, Malhara, Vadgaon (Fattepur), Parsapur Pathrot, Pandhari Khanampur of Anjangaon tehsil, Dahigaon Recha, Dhadi are also affected by the cold. Similarly in Chikhaldara tehsil, Katkumbh, Churni, Biba, Rahu Khari, Pipalya, Bhandum, Karanjkheda and other villages are also wreaking havoc of cold.
Tourist enthusiasm continues
The enthusiasm of the tourists remains intact even in the harsh winter. At present, there is an outbreak of cold wave in the rural areas of Amravati. Chikhaldara and its surrounding areas are always colder than Amaravati. The temperature here on Monday has reached the lowest level so far this year. Due to severe cold, use of warm clothes and bonfires are seen everywhere. Despite the extreme cold, tourists are reaching Chikhaldara. The enthusiasm of the tourists was clearly visible in the winter.
Banana, orange loss
Rabi season crops like gram, wheat, jows, peas etc. will get benefit due to the mercury coming below 5 degrees. It does not have any message. But the possibility of damage to banana orchards along with Pandhari Khanumpur Khet Shivar Orange fruit garden of Achalpur, Patrot, Anjangaon tehsil is being expressed by the growers.
