In protest against the Central Agricultural Laws, today on February 6, farmers will perform ‘Chakka Jam’ across the country. With this, the Delhi Police has increased the deployment of security forces at all border points in the capital Delhi. Paramilitary forces have also been put on the border of Delhi so that any unpleasant situation can be dealt with. Apart from this, the entry and exit gates of the metro stations of Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Janpath, Central Secretariat, Khan Market, Nehru Place will remain closed.
This demonstration will be done across the country but the day before, the United Kisan Morcha made it clear that the roads in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand will not be closed. Barring these three states, in the rest of the states, farmers in the rest of the country will jam peacefully from 12 noon to 3 pm. Under this, the National Highway and State Highway will be blocked in the states.

Red Fort and ITO also have a strong security system
Due to the violence during the tractor rally on Republic Day, Delhi Police has strengthened the security system. Apart from all the border points of the capital, security forces have also been deployed at many other places in the capital including the Red Fort and ITO. More than 500 policemen were injured and one demonstrator was killed in the violence during the tractor rally at Red Fort and ITO.

Keeping an eye on social media too
Delhi Police is closely monitoring drone cameras at protest sites to deal with any untoward situation. Apart from this, multilayer barricades, barbed wires and nails have been installed on Protest sites. Those who spread rumors on social media are also being monitored. On Monday, February 1, the farmers’ unions warned of a flywheel jam across the country on 6 February. Under this, on February 6 from 12 noon to 3 pm, national and state highways will be closed across the country, except Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
