Mumbai: The Central Railway will operate a mega block on its suburban section of the Harbor Line to carry out maintenance work on Sunday, February 20. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Chunabhatti/Bandra Down Harbor line will not operate from 11.40 am to 4.40 pm and Chunabhatti/Bandra-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Up Harbor line will not operate from 11.10 am to 4.10 pm.
It is being told that the Down Harbor line leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai/Wadala Road for Vashi/Belapur/Panvel from 11.16 am to 4.47 pm and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 10.48 am to 4.43 pm Down Harbor line services leaving Bandra/Goregaon will remain suspended.
Wherein Up Harbor line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 9.53 am to 3.20 pm and Up Harbor line from Goregaon/Bandra to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 10.45 am to 5.13 pm. Services will remain suspended.

However, special services will run between Panvel and Kurla (Platform No. 8) during the block period. Harbor line passengers are allowed to travel on Main Line and Western Railway during the block period from 10.00 AM to 6.00 PM. It has been informed that there will be no mega block on the main line on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Kalyan section.
Actually the maintenance mega block is essential for the maintenance and security of the infrastructure. Railway has requested the passengers to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience.
