It will no longer be possible to tamper with the results of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The board has introduced Blockchain technology to make the result secure and tamper-proof.
CBSE IT Director Antriksh Johri said that CBSE has started Blockchain. In which tampering with the result will no longer be possible. He said that earlier we had introduced Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) for affiliation systems.
The data in the new system will remain connected. Which is linked with cryptographic security so that there is no change in it. If anyone tampered with it, it can be easily traced.
Delhi’s Directorate of Education wrote a letter to CBSE to waive the fees of 10th, 12th students
Johri further added that this blockchain will also come in handy for certificate verification of students going for higher education or employment. Through this, complete details or data of students across the country will be stored in it. CBSE has secured assistance from the Center for Blockchain Technology of the National Informatics Center under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) to develop the academic (blockchain) documents software.
Under blockchain technology, the data is recorded in a distributed ledger. In which the details of ownership of all the participating stake holders are there. This data is recorded on the chain based on the consent of the stakeholders. And at the same time it gets a second copy on the network center located at all the locations of the blockchain nodes. This eliminates the dependency of third parties for verification.
