Wardha. One more service is going to be added to the health service of the district. Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences will soon start a cancer hospital in Savangi campus. Due to which the cancer patients of Vidarbha and Marathwada along with the district will get a state-of-the-art hospital with facilities. The hospital will be named Siddharth Gupta Memorial Cancer Hospital. Which has been officially announced by the Meghe Hospital Group on the eve of Global Cancer Day.
Datta Meghe, the Vice Chancellor of Meghe Medical Sciences Abhimat University and the founder President of the Education and Hospital Group, started a 100-bed capacity hospital in the name of Matoshree Radhikabai Meghe 32 years ago in the Savangi campus. At the time of establishment of the hospital, in this small village of Vidarbha, it was resolved to build not only metropolitan but also international class medical services. The institution has earned a name as a leading medical institution.

3 T MRI machine, Linear accelerator device system and Brachytherapy unit are being implemented for cancer treatment. The eligible patients of the government’s Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Swasthyadayi Yojana will be able to take the benefit of cancer treatment and operation free of cost in the hospital.
