Chandrapur, Employees are agitating demanding merger with the state government. Today is the 77th day of the movement. Despite repeated appeals from the corporation, after the workers did not return to work, now the corporation has started running buses on the strength of the employees who have returned. Today buses have left from Chandrapur, Warora and Rajura depots of the district. At the same time, the bus has not run from Chimur depot till date.
Today, a total of 13 buses have left from Chandrapur depot with passengers. In which 2 buses have run for Adilabad in Telangana state, 2 for the most crowded sub-capital Nagpur, 2 for Alapalli in Gadchiroli district, 2 for Bramhapuri, 2 for Vyahad in Savli tehsil and one for Warora. Apart from this, 2 buses of Warora depot run from Warora to Chandrapur and two buses from Warora to Vani carrying passengers.
Apart from this, Rajura has been engaged in the service of passengers between Depot and Rajura Chandrapur throughout the day. Passengers have got some relief due to the running of Rapani’s bus. But today not a single bus has run from Chimur depot. 13 buses of Chadrapur depot have covered a total distance of 3062 km in 36 ferries, providing convenience to the passengers. Rapani buses have started, due to which the passengers are also likely to get rid of the trouble of private buses.
A total of 245 buses used to run
Chandrapur, Rajura, Warora and Chimur depots are included under Chadrapur Division. In which 92 buses of Chandrapur depot, 62 of Rajura, 55 of Chimur and 36 buses of Warora were served to the passengers till before the strike. Together the four depots have a collection of around 23 lakhs per day. In which the maximum income was generated from Chandrapur and Rajura depots. At the same time, the number of Chimur and Warora depots comes after this. But in today’s date, due to the starting of only 18 buses out of this, the corporation is incurring huge loss.
action should be taken against many
There is also action against many employees involved in the strike. Out of which Rapni has terminated the service of 100 employees. At the same time, more than 100 have been suspended, apart from this many employees have been transferred. Despite this, even today hundreds of employees are standing on their demand. But now the passengers have got some relief by running some buses.
