British Prime Minister Boris Jhonson announced on Monday the relaxation of the Covid-19 Restrictions. This announcement has been made in the country at a time when Vaccination is going on in Britain. PM Johnson also requested people not to be negligent about the relaxation of the restrictions. Significantly, Britain is one of the few countries in the world where Corona has caused the most havoc.
PM Johnson tweeted and said, “Today marks the next phase of our roadmap to carefully reduce restrictions in England.” Vaccine is being installed in the country at a rapid pace, so it is important that we do not become too careless after relaxing the restrictions and put the progress made so far at risk. The ban on the meeting of six people in Britain was abolished from Monday. Also, now two families will be able to meet again.
These restrictions were lifted in Britain
Prime Minister Johnson said, people will be allowed to go to coaching institutes to play various sports including tennis, basketball, swimming. Apart from this, restrictions on other sports have also been removed. The British Prime Minister further said, there is no need to stay home now, but many restrictions will still remain. People are advised to continue working from home if possible and to avoid unnecessary travel. The British PM said, the people of the country will not be allowed to go abroad to stop the spread of new strains of coronavirus.
More than 4.3 million cases of corona reported in Britain
According to John Hopkins University, there have been 43,47,013 cases of coronavirus in the UK so far. At the same time, 1,26,834 people have died due to this deadly virus. On the other hand, 12.7 million people worldwide have been infected with the virus. In addition, 27.8 lakh people have died after being infected with the virus. In many countries of the world, including Britain, people are being vaccinated. The highest speed of vaccination is being seen in Israel. Half of Israel’s population has been given both doses of the vaccine.
