Mumbai: The work of wooing the voters has intensified with the rumblings of the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. The election of Uttar Pradesh also has an impact on the country’s capital Mumbai, in view of which the BJP in Mumbai has stuck in the election campaign work. Under the leadership of BJP North Bhartiya Morcha State President Sanjay Pandey, North Indian leaders are roaming in the street and campaigning for the BJP.
The UP BJP leadership has imposed duty in 54 assembly constituencies of Mumbai’s BJP workers. Former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had sent a batch of North Indian workers to Uttar Pradesh on 5th of this month. Since then, party workers have been doing election management work in assembly constituencies along with seeking votes for party candidates in different districts.
Duty imposed in 54 assembly constituencies
According to Sanjay Pandey, State President of North Bhartiya Morcha, 130 office bearers of the Morcha have been deployed in total 54 assembly constituencies in Kanpur, Kanpur Dehat, Unnao, Amethi, Sultanpur, Budaun, Pilibhit, Bareilly Shahjahanpur districts. The office bearers of the party are doing the work of campaigning and management in coordination with the local district unit and the candidate.

Election will be held in third phase in Kanpur
In Kanpur, polling is to be held in the third phase on February 20. BJP’s media coordinator Omprakash Chauhan says that BJP will perform well in all seats. There is a good response from the voters. In the 4 assembly constituencies of Kanpur Dehat, the workers of Mumbai under the leadership of Arjun Gupta and Chirag Gupta are counting the achievements of BJP among the people.
Camped in Sultanpur and Amethi
Santosh Singh Thakur, vice-president of the North Bhartiya Morcha, is camping in Sultanpur and Amethi. He told that out of the total 5 seats in Sultanpur, BJP is holding 4 seats. People are showing enthusiasm towards BJP. Similarly, Anil Rai, Pradyuman Shukla are trying to win party candidates in Bareilly and Pilibhit districts.
