Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday claimed a thumping victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state assembly elections, saying that on March 10, the lotus (BJP’s election symbol) will bloom again in the state and nationalism, development, On the issue of good governance and security, the BJP and its allies will get 80 per cent seats and the remaining 20 per cent will be divided by the opposition.
Before campaigning for the seventh phase, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath told reporters at the BJP’s state headquarters on Saturday, “I can say with confidence and confidence that on March 10, under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the double engine will again. The government will be ruling in the state. BJP will be successful in forming the government in the state with a thumping majority.”
It is noteworthy that the BJP leaders call the government of the same party at the center and the state as a double engine government. Yogi Adityanath claimed that in this election, by breaking the walls of casteism, people made security, good governance and development issues and the opposition’s efforts to divide the society in the name of caste, vote, religion were unsuccessful.
Yogi claimed that after the immense public support received during the two-month marathon election campaign, it has been decided that the double engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party is going to be formed again on March 10 with 80 per cent seats, the remaining 20 per cent. There will be division among the opposition for seats. “During the election campaign, I got a chance to visit all 75 districts and the enthusiasm shown in all 403 assembly seats in these 75 districts shows that BJP is going to form the government once again,” he said.
It is noteworthy that voting has been completed in six phases for the proposed Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly in seven phases and on March 7, 54 assembly seats in nine districts will vote. Yogi said, “The six phases of elections in the state have been held peacefully, this is an example of the rule of law made by the state government.”
Taking a jibe at the opposition parties, Yogi alleged that before 2014, regional parties had divided the state on the basis of caste, vote, religion, as a result of which the attention that should have been given to the basic problems was not given. .

The Chief Minister said that in 2017 under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the then BJP President Amit Shah, the BJP had released the Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra and it was said to make the state riot free and fear free. Yogi said that today people in all parts of the state including Bundelkhand, Purvanchal, Vindhya region, western and central are talking about themselves being safe.
Yogi also mentioned about the Shri Ram temple under construction in Ayodhya.
