Now the political mercury has started rising regarding this issue and former President of Congress, the main opposition party at the Center, has attacked the Modi government. BJP MP Tapir Gao says that the Chinese Army PLA (People’s Liberation Army) has entered the Indian border and taken a 17-year-old Indian citizen Meeram Taroun hostage. Regarding this, Rahul Gandhi has accused the PM’s silence of being his statement. Tapir is a BJP MP from Arunachal Pradesh-East.

The BJP MP has tweeted that the Chinese army had entered the Indian border on January 18 and took 17-year-old Meeram of Jido village hostage. The village is located in Lungta Jor area under Siungla area (Bishing village) in Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh where China had constructed 3-4 km of road within India about four years ago in 2018. According to the BJP MP’s tweet, Miram’s friends somehow managed to escape from the Chinese army and informed the authorities. Tapir urged the government agencies to take necessary steps to get Meeram released at the earliest. In his tweet, he has tagged PM Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, State Deputy Chief Minister Choana Mien and Indian Army.
Rahul Gandhi told the silence of the PM his statement
Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has targeted the Modi government regarding this issue. He has tweeted that a few days before the Republic Day, a fortune maker of India has been kidnapped by China and he is with the family of Miram Taroun and will not give up hope, will not give up.
