Bihar Assembly Election 2020: Preparations for the Bihar assembly elections are going on in full swing. Nominations have also been done for 71 seats of the first phase. According to the affidavit filed by all the candidates, the richest candidate in the first phase is Anant Singh, contesting from Mokama Assembly constituency in Patna district. If we talk about the poorest candidates, five out of 1066 candidates have declared their assets as zero. Apart from this, in addition to the declaration of zero assets, the candidate with the lowest assets is Rinku Kumar, a candidate contesting from Gaya Town area of Gaya district. The Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) has not analyzed the affidavits of the two candidates as they are unclear. In this, Lakhisarai district has two candidates Lakhisarai and Suryagarh Phulena Singh (ILD) and Prahlad Yadav (RJD).
2700 movable property with Rinku Kumar
Rinku Kumar, who is contesting from Gaya Town in Gaya district, belongs to the Jan Party-Secular. In the affidavit, he has claimed movable support of Rs 2700. According to the affidavit, he has no immovable property.
Second poorest candidate does not even have PAN card
After Rinku Kumar, the poorest candidate in the first phase election is Shailesh Rahi, who is contesting from Kutumba (SC) in Aurangabad district. He is fighting the All India Forward Plock (revolutionary). He has movable assets of Rs 9000. They do not have any immovable property and do not even have a PAN card.
The third poorest candidate is Rohtas from whom Lal Dhari Singh is fighting from Karghar constituency. He has shown movable property worth Rs 10,000, while he has no immovable property. They have a PAN card.
Candidates with zero assets
In the first phase, five candidates have declared their assets as zero. In this, IND candidate Kapil Dev Mandal, contesting from Jamalpur area of Munger district, Ashok Kumar from Mokama area in Patna district, Prabhu Singh from National Freedom Party from Chainpur area of Kaimur (Bhabua) district, Prabhu Singh from Nabinagar area of Aurangabad district. Gopal Nishad from NCP and Mahavari Manjhi of Bharatiya Insan Party from Bodh Gaya (SC) area of Gaya district. These people have declared their movable and immovable property to be zero. Out of these, Kapil Dev Mandal has not even mentioned any PAN card with him.
