Bihar Board BSEB 10th Result Declared: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Patna has announced the result of matriculation or class 10th examination on Monday. For the first time, 101 students have made it to the merit list. In the first place, there are three students jointly – Pooja Kumari and Shubhadarshani of Simultala Awasiyya Vidyalaya (SAV) and Sandeep Kumar of Baldev High School. They have scored 96.80 per cent marks.
78.17 percent students pass
A total of 16.8 lakh students had registered for the Class 10 examination. Students can check the result through website- onlinebseb.in, results.biharboardonline.com. The pass percentage has come down to 78.17 percent. The matriculation exam took place from 17 February to 24 February.
A total of 16,54,171 students were seated, out of which 8,29,278 were girls and 8,24,893 were boys. 12,93,054 students passed, out of which 6,76,518 were boys, while 6,16,536 were girls. This year, half of the exams took place in MCQ based OMR sheets. Apart from this, the BSEB gave students alternative or 100 percent options for every question asked as a concession.

To clear the matriculation exam, a student is required to bring 30 per cent of the total marks in the theory portion of every subject, at least 40 per cent marks is required in the subject’s practicals. To achieve the first division, a student has to score 300 marks, while for the second division, 225 marks are required.
The results of the intermediate examination were released on 26 March. A total of 78.04 per cent students had successfully passed this exam. 80.57 percent girls passed. The boys had a pass percentage of 75.71 percent.
