Bank Holidays: If you always keep visiting banks for money, then keep in mind that in the next month, in April 2021, banks will be closed for 10 days, including weekends and festivals. Apart from this, banks will be closed for five days at the regional level in some states. In such a situation, make a list of bank holidays in advance so that there is no problem. Banks will open only one day in the first four days of April. Bank accounts will be closed on 1 April due to closing, Good Friday on 2 April and Sunday on 4 April.
Banks across the country remain closed on gazetted holidays. Apart from this, according to the central bank RBI, banks will remain closed in most states on Good Friday, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti and Ram Navami. Below is the list of holidays notified by RBI under Negotiable Instruments Act.

10 April – Second Saturday of the month
April 11 – Weekly detention (Sunday)
April 14 – Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti / Tamil Nadu Annual Day / Vishu / Biju Festival / Cheiraoba / Bohag Bihu (will be open in Aizawl, Bhopal, Chandigarh, New Delhi. Raipur, Shillong and Shimla.)
18 April – Weekly detention (Sunday)
April 21 – Shri Ram Navami (Chaite Dashain) / Ghadia Puja (Aizawl, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Imphal, Jammu, Kochi, Kolkata, New Delhi, Panaji, Raipur, Shillong, Srinagar and Thiruvananthapuram banks will be open)
April 24 – Fourth Saturday of the month
25 April – Weekly detention (Sunday)
According to RBI, banks will remain on 1 April.
